研究活動概要 / Summary of Research Activities 電波・ミリ波・サブミリ波を中心とした観測を通して、 遠方宇宙における星形成活動や銀河の形成・進化の研究を行っています。 また、宇宙における突発天体（超新星、ガンマ線バースト、高速電波バーストなど）の研究にも取り組んでいます。 望遠鏡の運用や観測装置の開発・試験・立ち上げ、次世代望遠鏡の科学的検討にも貢献しています。
