Measurement

  1. Start COSMOS3 and tune the receiver to be used
  2. Login to COSMOS3 manager GUI with Group=asteXX (e.g. aste16) and Project=sbrfXX (e.g. sbrf16)
  3. Run CONT qlook (qlookc) from cos3launcher
  4. Adjust pointing using either of the following observation tables
     
    SaturnDASH345stx5d3.start
    BAND8stx5b8.start
     
    • Auto-pointing is available toward bright planets
    • Turn on auto-pointing on the CONT qlook if necessary
  5. Run either of the following observation tables according to a planet and a receiver
     
    SaturnDASH345stsbd3z.start
    BAND8stsbb8z.start

Analysis

  1. Login to an analysis computer (e.g. aste-ms1/aste-mx3) with account=asteXX (e.g. aste16)
  2. Rsync CONT data from the ASTE site
    asteXX@aste-ms1: ~/analysis/bin/cont_rsync.sh <project> <obs. table> <time>
    e.g.)
    asteXX@aste-ms1: ~/analysis/bin/cont_rsync.sh sbrf16 stsbb8z 201608150
    ...
  3. Run lck_sbrfz.py
    aste16@aste-ms1> ~/analysis/bin/lck_sbrefz.py ~/sbrfXX/continuum/data/CONT. ... .LCK
