Preparations†

antstat is unnecessary any more
- iOPT_r17shm communicates with COSMOS3 through shared memories and NOT files created by antstat.

1. Aspirin is running on aste-1c†

Aspirin's running can be confirmed by looking at the Aspirin Monitor window. Check the following three items.

Current time = 2015/04/06 01:22:06    <--- The differences among these three times
Aspirin time = 2015/04/06 01:22:04    <--- should be less than 60 seconds.
Weather time = 2015/04/06 01:22:01    <---
Aspirin Offset : (Az, El) = (   8.65,   4.62 )
Aspirin status : OK ( C22:on  C6:OFF WIND:OFF)    <--- should be "OK" and not "WIND_ON"
Refraction Corr. status : OK                      <--- should be "OK"

2. (dAz, dEL) is (0.0, 0.0)†

Confirm that dAz and dEl are 0.0s in the AZEL offset window.
- If they have some offsets, set ddAz and/or ddEL so that they become 0.0 in the AZEL offset window.

3. OPT image†

Check OPT images following the instructions in CSV/Optical pointing/Optical telescope setup/Focus adjustment

4. Start iOPT on aste-c1c†

iOPT calculates pointing offsets from optical images and records their results to files.
Login to aste-c1c

Confirm that no iOPT is running on aste-c1c

If nothing is displayed, go to the next step. If iOPT_r17shm exists, kill it.

Confirm "Antenna not ready" messages

天体に向くと毎秒10-15の測定値が流れる。
optonのdirectoryにyyyymmddhhmm.tabというlogging fileが生成される。
強制終了(CNTL&C)されるまで走っている。COSMOSで指示書を変えても同じlogging fileにデータが取得されるため、別のlogging fileにしたい場合は、一度強制終了して再度起動させる。

1. Start measurements†

Start an observation table

- Observation tables shall be updated every year so as to take account of proper motions of stars.
- An execution roughly runs for about 80 minutes.
- 測定の視野は＋－10秒角である (10.5秒とかの数値を表示したら、星像が視野の淵にいる。）星が全く見えない場合、星を長時間trackingする指示書を流して全視野撮像する(5へ)
