How to make "Observation Table"†

Before observations with the ASTE 10m telescope, you must prepare "Observation Table" which consists of three subtables ("Source Table", "Scan Table", and "Device Table") and send it to the workstation which controls the ASTE 10m telescope system. You can make these subtables and send "Observation Table" to the workstation by using a software "Aobs". This manual explain how to use "Aobs" and about the parameters which you have to enter.

1. Preparation
   • You need an Amazon WorkSpaces account and an observation account for each new proposal before you make "Observation Table".
   • ASTE will inform you of the accounts beforehand.
   • You CANNOT reuse the accounts for past observations in new proposals.
