Network route to ASTE (aste-2c, aste-3c) from NRO†

• You can login aste-2c and aste-3c from aste-wx2 at NRO.
• [2011/4/7 - ] The hostnames are changed to aste-mt2-2c and aste-mt2-3c from aste-2c and aste-3c, respectively
• Followings are examples:
  • ssh example (aste-2c)

    [localhost]$ ssh  aste-wx2
    [aste-wx2]$ ssh  aste-mt2-2c

  • ssh example (aste-3c)

    [localhost]$ ssh  aste-wx2
    [aste-wx2]$ ssh  aste-mt2-3c

Continuum Backed Connection†

• CH0 and CH1 are available. Beware this when you reduce a continuum mapping data with 'cont'.
• The current settings are as follows:
  • CH0 : CATS345
  • CH1 : CATS345
  • CH2 : No Signal

[2011/4/15] ]Recommending Attenuator Setting for Continuum Observation†

• Sometimes, standing like baseline appears in scan data of the continuum observation, due to unstable output level of CATS345. Recommending attenuator setting is 3900s.
• Set this value after TURNING as follow on aste-3c.
