Preparations

  1. Login to COSMOS3 manager GUI with Group=asteXX (e.g. aste16) and Project=sbrfXX (e.g. sbrf16)
  2. Tune the receiver to be used
  3. Run CONT qlook (qlookc) from cos3launcher
    • Push the START button.

Measurement

  1. Adjust pointing using either of the following observation tables
     
    SaturnDASH345stx5d3.start
    BAND8stx5b8.start
     
    • Auto-pointing is available toward bright planets.
    • Turn on auto-pointing on the CONT qlook if necessary.
  2. Measure z-position of the sub-reflector by running either of the following observation tables
     
    SaturnDASH345stsbd3z.start
    BAND8stsbb8z.start

Analysis

  1. Login to an analysis computer (e.g. aste-ms1/aste-mx3) with account=asteXX (e.g. aste16)
  2. Change to the data directory of the project
    asteXX@aste-ms1: cd ~/sbrfXX/continuum/data
    e.g.)
    aste16@aste-ms1: cd ~/sbrf16/continuum/data/
    aste16@aste-ms1: pwd
    /home/aste16/sbrf16/continuum/data
  3. Rsync CONT data from the ASTE site
    asteXX@aste-ms1: ~/analysis/bin/cont_rsync.sh <project> <obs. table> <time (YYYY-MM-DD)>
    e.g.)
    aste16@aste-ms1: ~/analysis/bin/cont_rsync.sh sbrf16 stsbd3z 2016-08-17
    * rsync -e ssh -avz astecntl@aste-1c:/cosmos3/aste/bklog/contlck/curr/CONT.stsbd3z*.aste16.sbrf16.20160817*.LCK /home/aste16/sbrf16/continuum/data/

  4. Run lck_sbrfz.py
