I got a formula to correct the positioning of the detection unit.
SampleThickness*(n-1)/n - 1mm
In the case of 60 mm-long Sapphire the shift is 60*0.76/1.76 - 1 = 24.9 mm
I applied to the last simulation and it looks working.
