CASA Tutorial
December 20 (Tue), 14:40 at Large Seminar Room in Subaru Bldg.
- CASA tutorial is designed for users to make yourself familliar with CASA reduction software. Please bring your computer with CASA 4.7.0-1 installed on it to the tutorial.
- We also welcome participants who wish to just watch demonstrations in the tutorial.
- If you have problems in installing CASA and need a help, please contact by email to eiji.akiyama_AT_nao.ac.jp, or catch ARC staff in the meeting.
- Note that Windows is not supported by CASA. (Linux over Windows needs additional software like VMware Player.)

The tutorial is designed for users in basic level in the interferometry data reduction. Ther tutorial mainly covers the following topics.
- data product structure and how to handle them
- how to review calibrated data (Weblog review)
- tips, tricks, traps, and important reminders in reducing ALMA data
We also accept advanced or specific questions such as self-calibration and image combine in the room Insei-Sminar Room (a room next to the Large Seminar Room)
